Heavy Traffic with Pets

Anyone with pets and kids knows that the doors to your home can seem to be revolving at times. Some days there seems to be no end to the dirt, mud and other unidentifiable objects that are tracked in from outside. Fortunately, the Carpet Cleaning Company understands the demands that are placed on your floors and we stand ready to help keep your floors clean.

Our Tips for Heavy Traffic Areas with Pets
The carpet cleaning experts at the Carpet Cleaning Company recommend the following tips to keep your home’s floors clean and looking nice:
- Maintain your clean floors by vacuuming regularly. All areas including unused rooms should be vacuumed monthly. High traffic areas need to be vacuumed every other day or at least three times a week to remove dirt, dander and airborne allergens. Wet mud and dirt are bound to happen and should be left to dry, vacuumed and then spot cleaned.
- To help prevent mud and dirt from being tracked in we recommend that you use outdoor rugs and mats that can be easily cleaned.
- Wearing house shoes or socks around your house helps to keep your carpet looking its best. Oils from the bottom of your feet rub into your carpet and attract dirt. Over time the build-up from those oils can leave your floors looking dirty and dingy.
